Hook the block up

Lay the case flat on the floor and open the lid. 
Take out the block marked 1. 
Hook the block at a designated attachment point. The block must be hooked on the side of the vessel you wish to recover the MOB*.
Possible attachment points for the block marked 1:
- Sailing vessel: at the outhaul end of the boom or on the C&L Wire Clamp (shrouds).
- Motor boat: on the cabin handrail or gantry.

IMPORTANT: Do not start with step 2 until the block has been securely hooked.

*The abbreviation MOB (Man Overboard) refers to a person who has accidentally fallen into the water from a watercraft.
